Hey guys, happy Valentines Day! Sorry I’ve been away for a while, but my workload for school this semester is turning into a lot of staying up late reading boring textbooks.
But to make it up to you, here’s a little tidbit of information y’all might not have known:
You know how in the song Holocene the lyrics go “3rd and Lake it burnt away…” well that was a house that Justin lived in while he was in college, on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Lake Street. And, I may be wrong, but I believe he recorded his JD Vernon album in that house.
Well, three years ago today was the day the house burned down.

It really makes me upset to realize that most of Bon Iver’s fan base are unaware that Justin Vernon has had many others acts before the birth of Bon Iver.
This one is from an album titled Feels Like Home he released as “JD Vernon” back in 2001.
